A new addition to this year’s paddling events, The “Hog Island Huff” offers an unparalleled SUP experience. A water start off of Miller Park, on the Eastern shore of the Tomales Bay, this race will be fast and furious. Racers will be cruising through the channels and sand bars, around the star fish studded rocky points of Hog and Duck Islands and back to the shores of Miller Park – approximately 5 miles. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the race starts at 9:00 am. There are prize packages for the winners, courtesy of Demo Sport in San Rafael. $10 registration fee includes free parking. This event is spectator friendly, and there will be paddle boards available to rent. Meet at Miller Park (Next to Nick’s Cove, 3.5 miles North of the Town of Marshall).
