Greg Jones – San Rafael Store and Repair Shop Manager

Greg is a Marin Native and has worked for Demo Sport for 15 years. “Dr. Jones” is an avid snowboarder and mountain biker. Greg is also a tax preparer. Greg has been mounting and tuning snow skis and snowboards since the new millennium. Greg also manages Demo Sport’s inventory for both our POS system and our website demosport.com. Each summer Greg gets away from it all with a family vacation to Mexico. When it comes to wakeboarding if you have the boat Greg will bring the boards!

Scott Durkee – Tiburon Store Manager

Scott is a San Francisco native and an avid road cyclist happily married with two grown children. Scott is a journeyman carpenter recently retired. Scott is an excellent wrench (bike mechanic) and has run Demo Sport Tiburon for the past several seasons each spring through fall. Scott has quite a local following with cyclist and skaters looking forward to his return to Tiburon each spring. With winters off Scott has time to ride daily, travel and enjoy his family with roots on the East Coast. If Scott had it his way he would ride his Trek Madone cross country to see them.

Steve Merrifield - President and Founder

Steve grew up in San Francisco in a family of boys with a passion for music and the outdoors. Prior to Demo Sport, Steve lived in Bear Valley, CA working as a Professional Ski Patrolman and White Water Guide. Steve met his wife in Bear Valley and they have two wonderful grown daughters. Steve’s passions include skiing, hiking, biking and paddle sports. Steve has skied extensively throughout the West including Canada and Alaska with aspirations of skiing worldwide. Steve has been selecting skis and fitting boots since a teenager bringing over 40 years of alpine expertise to your disposal.
